Going back to school can rock! Erin Mills Town Centre is transforming the centre into the School of Rock from Saturday, August 28 until Saturday, September 4 during regular mall hours. With rock’n roll dress up and photo shoots, dance parties, cool yoga, instrument show and tell and so much more, the School of Rock is some serious back-to-school fun for the whole family! Get schooled in the Art of Rock! EMTC presents the “Main Stage” experience of School of Rock with Rock 101! Kids will create cool rock star “must haves” including personalized guitars, crazy band names, posters and buttons. They will also learn how to rock back-to-school fall fashions with lucky participants chosen to take part in our School of Rock fashion show.
This event requires registration. Sessions at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm. Each session is approximately 45mins in length. Brought to you by Old Navy, Please Mum, The Gap, The Source, HMV, Lids, Melonhead, Pearle Vision, Bubble Tease and Black’s.

Families can also participate in the School of Rock Photo Booth and Cool Craft station on the lower level. Families can pick rock star inspired costume pieces from a tickle truck, have their hair spruced by Melonhead, create cool glasses compliments of Pearle Visions and have their photo taken by Black’s. Sunday, August 29 • CHOCOLATE ROCKS! • 12pm - 4pm
Master the art of chocolate at Chocolate Rocks! Join chocolate artists from Purdy’s and learn how to make a tasty Chocolate Pizza in Centre Court. The infamous Purdy’s hedgehog will make a special appearance.
Drop in between 12pm – 4pm. Takes approximately 20 minutes. $4 donation with net proceeds donated to Visual Arts Mississauga.

Keep smiling with fun moves to stay healthy at Cool Mommy & Me Yoga! Kids and parents will learn quick and easy yoga moves which can be used anywhere, anytime…a great way to stay fit! Plus great tips to keeping teeth healthy during back to school and a chance to create a cool craft!

Tuesday, August 31 & Wednesday, September 1 • ARTY PARTY WITH VAM! • 10am, 10:45am, 11:30am, 1pm, 1:45pm, 2:30pm
Learn how to throw a party in style with Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM)! Show your creativity and make a “going green” inspired project using recycled materials at the ARTty pARTy with VAM. The session includes a short demonstration and ‘studio time’ to complete the project. Participants will receive a Loot Bag upon completion and can take their project home with them.
This event requires registration. Sessions at 10am, 10:45am, 11:30am, 1pm, 1:45pm and 2:30pm. Each session is approximately 30 minutes in length with a maximum of 30 participants.
Thursday, September 2 & Friday, September 3 • ROCK BAND SHOW & TELL • 10am - 3pm
Experiment with cool instruments and make a cool craft! The Ontario Conservatory of Music will be demonstrating how to rock with cool instruments such as the bass, guitar and keyboards. Kids will get the hands on experience to be a real rock star at the Rock Band Show & Tell!
Drop in between 10am – 3pm. Each demo takes approximately 20minutes.
