School of Hard Knocks: Funny And Insightful Tales for Adults With Laura Pershin Raynor and Josie Parker March 12, 2010

Join two of Michigan's best storytellers - Josie Barnes Parker and Laura Pershin Raynor - for an evening in honor of Women's History Month. This event will feature Josie and Laura's funny and touching stories of a girl's education, told from personal experience. They will be joined by talented musicians Betsy Beckerman and Sara Melton Keller.

Josie Barnes Parker is the director of the Ann Arbor District Library and an accomplished storyteller in her own right. Laura Pershin Raynor, Ann Arbor District Library Youth Librarian, was named a National Storyteller of the Year and is a local favorite.
