Finders Keepers, the Chicago-based scavenger hunt company, is announcing "Eye Spy", an event that will take place on Thursday, January 21st, 2010, in Chicago's Loop. This event is open to the public and there is an entry fee of $10 for each team of two. Registration will be held on the day of the event at 10 S. Dearborn in the sublevel, starting at 5:00pm. The game will begin promptly at 5:30pm and will last about an hour, followed by a reception with free refreshments. CTA day passes, running shoes, and cell phones that can receive text messages are encouraged.
At the start of the game, your team of two will enter the elevated loop. You can split up to cover the most ground. You will soon receive a series of text messages to help you find the hidden agents, and you must collect a clue from each in order to decipher the secret end location. Once the first team arrives at the secret location, its address will be sent to all players via text message and the agents will disappear. Race to the finish! Only the first three teams to arrive will win prizes, but there will be refreshments for all.
