Scarecrows on Parade October 15, 2011

Visitors will be laughing, screaming, pointing and pondering while shopping this fall as Clark Street in Lincoln Park hosts its annual Scarecrows on Parade from Saturday, October 15 through Monday, October 31, 2011.
Dozens of local merchants will flaunt their creativity and begin this festive autumn sales season by designing and displaying a themed scarecrow in front of their business. After viewing all of the Scarecrows on Parade, the public is invited to vote for their favorite at VisitClarkStreet.com. Voters will automatically be entered for a chance to win more than $800 in prizes!
Scarecrows will be at participating businesses on Clark Street between Armitage and Diversey, and on Diversey from Orchard to Lakeview. A complete list of participants will be available at the VisitClarkStreet.com website beginning October 14. Voting ends at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, and winners will be announced at the third annual Clark Street Spooktacular on October 29.
