Scantily Clad Comedy ft. Grant Lyon May 28, 2010

The Clubhouse is San Francisco's top comedy club on Yelp thanks to amazing audience members and a simple formula: the best local comedy at a great price in a unique atmosphere. Every Friday night, Scantily Clad Comedy showcases the best local stand-up comedians.

Our May 28 headliner is Grant Lyon, a Bay Area favorite who performs at clubs and colleges nationwide. Described by SF Weekly as “a hilariously sharp observer, not one of those tired white-guy bellyachers,” Grant is a practitioner of sophisticated immaturity - his comedy blends intelligent wit with pure silliness all while maintaining a relaxed surfer-dude personality. A history major in college, his infatuation with this nation’s past and present stand out throughout his show. He was a featured performer at the Asheville Comedy Festival, winner of the Colorado Mile High Comedy Competition, appeared in the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition, and has opened for names like Bobby Lee and Robin Williams. His comedy is clever and honest, a unique combination of social commentary and ridiculous observations.

IMPORTANT NOTICE, especially for return customers: due to a recent change in laws we no longer can allow customers to bring their own alcohol. However, our neighbors downstairs Ruby Skye have offered to let our customers in for free between 7 and 9. Just show them your ticket and you will be able to order food and drinks at their full bar, then head to the 5th floor at 9 for a great show!

Please note that heckling will NOT be tolerated. If you are being disruptive and do not cooperate with management, you will be thrown out.
