It's a new year, and it's hard to say what it will bring - electoral upsets, economic crisis, perhaps even the ever-looming apocalypse! Regardless of what 2008 brings, we'll be here to help you get drunk and laugh at it.

Scantily Clad Comedy is a weekly stand-up comedy showcase featuring the Bay Area's best up-and-coming comics alongside industry veterans. It's only $7 (note: price going up soon) and you can bring your own booze (note: this will never change)!

Our Jan. 18 headliner is local legend Joe Klocek, host of the Get It? Gameshow at the San Francisco Punhcline who was featured on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham.
