Conducted by Simon Thew, the incredibly talented young musicians of the SBS Youth Orchestra bring their concert, Revolutions That Built Foundations to Riverside Theatres on Saturday, 28 October at 3pm.
The program features Joshua Clarke, Principal Trumpet of the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra and ex-member of the SBS Youth orchestra, in his performance of the ground breaking Trumpet Concerto by Josef Haydn.
Revolutions That Built Foundations also features two other revolutionary works: The overture to the Marriage of Figaro by Mozart and Beethoven's sublime Eroica Symphony.
