TGIF Entertainment Group, a newly launched private independent entertainment company based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, has announced exciting plans for the first annual "Alto Reed's Motor City AllStar Evening with Friends" concert to rock the holiday season, Friday, November 26, 2010 at The Fillmore Detroit (formerly State Theatre) in Detroit,Michigan. SaxMan Alto Reed, founding and current member of "Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band," along with TGIF Entertainment Group, have assembled a star studded roster of Detroit grown talent, featuring legendary Mitch Ryder, teamed with surprise guest appearances of nationally known talent. Alto Reed's Motor City AllStars, featuring the Groove Council are well known to Detroit audiences and recently headlined at The Parade Company's Target Fireworks Party in July, Arts Beats & Eats and other high profile venues. WCSX on-air personality, Doug Podell will be featured as the event emcee. A portion of the concert's proceeds will benefit Goodwill Industries.
