Save Old Time Music Presents the Carolina Chocolate Drops February 19, 2009

The Carolina Chocolate Drops, comprised of Rhiannon Giddens, Justin Robinson and Dom Flemings, are a group of young African-American stringband musicians that have come together to play the rich tradition of fiddle and banjo music found in North Carolina’s Piedmont region. “North Carolina has produced several legendary musicians and we are proud to host one of the best new Carolina groups to hit the music scene in recent years,” said Kyle McCarthy, CEO of Save Old Time Music. “If you’ve never seen the Chocolate Drops perform, you’re in for a treat.”
