Sausalito Art Festival Foundation Preview Party September 4, 2009

The Sausalito Art Festival kicks off its 57th year with a grand Preview Party on Friday, September 4 at 6 p.m. at Marinship Park on the waterfront in Sausalito. The opening night party has been a tradition of the festival since 1979 and each year re-invents itself with a festive theme to keep the 1,000 guests and artists coming back for more of what they call “the party of the year.” This year’s theme, “Havana Nights,” will feature Cuban-inspired foods catered by Dan McCall and Associates, and revelers will dance the night away to the sounds of salsa music. Patrons may stroll the grounds, sip libations and be the first to view over 20,000 works of art by the artists of this year’s Festival. Tickets to the 2009 Preview Party are $125 each. A VIP weekend package is available for $225 which includes reserved seating at the Preview Party, three-day admission to the festival, merchandise and other amenities.
