Mars may get the headlines, but no planet is more breathtaking than Saturn. The Lord of the Rings takes center stage at the Observatory for Saturndays. There will be programs about Saturn, tours of the buildings and viewing through the historic 1843 and 1904 telescopes (weather permitting). The Moon and Orion will also be observed. Reservations are required for the classes at 9pm and 10pm. No reservations are need for just viewing. Drop-ins welcome.
