This weekend, Gather is pleased to present Deborah Crooks, an intimate and edgy artist whose lyric driven and soul-wise music has drawn comparison to Lucinda Williams, The Cowboy Junkies and Chrissie Hynde. Singing about faith, love and loss, her lyrics are honed by a lifetime of writing while her music draws on folk, rock, Americana and the blues.

Recently named the 2010 Best New Restaurant and Best Locally Sourced Menu by East Bay Express Readers, Gather in downtown Berkeley has something for everyone- including great acoustic music on the landscaped patio at Saturday brunch.
