Sarasota Native American Indian Market December 4, 2010

The third annual Sarasota Indian Market will take place at the Art Center Sarasota, 707 N. Tamiami trail on December 3rd, 4th and 5th 2010.

Native American fine artists from all over North America will gather to present their work and share their culture for the weekend. The artists, representing various tribes will include some of the finest painters, jewelers, beaders, flute makers, potters, sculptors and leather workers in the Native American art world. We are honored to have Allen Mose Jr. from the Dineh’ (Navajo) as our guest entertainer. Alan is a Grammy award winning singer who will be bringing the traditional songs, drumming and chanting from his culture to share with us throughout the weekend. The market will open Friday evening for a preview from 5pm to 9pm, Saturday from 10-6pm and Sunday from 10-5pm. Tickets are $8.00.
