Singer/songwriter par excellence, with 13 adult and 3 children’s recordings under her belt, Sara Hickman is also a social activist and fund raiser for countless humanitarian causes. This mother of two teaches classes in parenting, creativity, and songwriting. and was named the State Musician of Texas in 2010. In the 24 (count 'em) years since Sara first appeared on Calvin’s stage (remember The Mary-Lou?), this unstoppable force of nature continues to define what it takes to be a true artist and visionary in this industry, as well as one of its most beloved people. Her newest recording, Absence of Blame, is called “practically faultless…she has never sounded better.” We are all incredibly blessed once again to experience her passion, her heart, and her talent. Sara is donating $5 per ticket tonight to support ACD research.
