Santa Barbara Macintosh Users Group (SBMUG) September monthly meeting, Thursday, September 16, at 6:00 PM, Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, 2559 Puesta del Sol, Santa Barbara.
Q&A session at 6 PM, when you are welcome to ask our member experts questions regarding Macs or "iAnythings."
The main program begins shortly after 7. Fred Marschak, Professor of Earth and Planetary Sciences at SBCC and longtime SBMUG member, will present a talk entitled "AstroMac." This talk will cover a few of the Apps for your iPhone/iPad/iPod, some really good websites for astronomy, and how to impress your friends and relatives with everyday sky events. Two new, exciting local astronomy ventures will also be presented.
As always, we'll have wireless internet access, delicious refreshments, and good company! Everyone is welcome (bring your PC and Linux friends, too!)
Prize drawings are held for current members only. (You may join at the meeting.) Present postcard for a bonus raffle ticket.
