Santa At Gingerbread Lane December 11, 2008

Show Low’s annual Santa Clause visit comes to “Santa at Gingerbread Lane”.

Hey kids; bring your parents and join White Mountain Heritage Realty & the City of Show Low on Thursday, December 11, 2008 as we welcome Santa Claus to Gingerbread Lane. Santa will bring goodwill and holiday cheer to the kids of the White Mountains, during his annual visit (formerly Santa at the Victorian), now taking place on “Gingerbread Lane”.

The event will run from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., with Santa arriving at 5:00 p.m., escorted by the Show Low Fire Department. Santa’s gingerbread workshop is located on 520 S. Ridge Drive in the community of Show Low Bluff. Parking will be available near Gingerbread Lane within the neighborhood.

Live entertainment will include music by the Junior High School Orchestra & the High Country Barbershop; as well as a reading of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” by members of the Show Low City Council.

We will be serving fresh cookies and hot chocolate, passing out goodie bags, and enjoying the sights of many creative gingerbread houses, constructed by participants in this year’s gingerbread house competition.

Of course, all kids get to visit with Santa inside the Gingerbread Workshop on Gingerbread Lane. So Parents; remember your cameras! There will a lot of memories to capture this year.
