What should
your communications plan contain? How do
you know if youre planning to do the right things? Does anyone produce the most beautiful plan
and can you copy it?

This
workshop looks at the essential elements that every communications plan needs
and enables delegates to test if their plans make sense to anyone else with
other professionals on the course!

Specifically
we will cover in a day:

When is a plan not a plan (Clue when its a task
list)
Understanding the difference between plans for
specific projects and an annual programme
What makes a good objective?
What do you need to know about your audiences
What do you want to say to them
What channels work well and when
How will you know it is working

Delegates
will have a chance to examine their own plans and to develop new ones with the
help of the tutors and the other delegates.
You will leave with fresh ideas and the energy to make a bigger impact
in your organisation.

Liam
FitzPatrick is one of the most experienced workshop leaders for internal
communications in Europe. Managing
Director of simplygoodadvice, he has
trained hundreds of communicators through in-house and public courses.

He works
with Universities and the UKs Chartered Institute of Public Relations on
training issues and is one of the co-authors of the definitive competency
models for internal communicators.

His
knowledge comes from his many years of practical work in the area, working as
both a consultant and a senior in-house manager leading communications teams.
