Sands of Time February 22, 2009

Maryland Black History Exhibition "Sands fo Time" Celebrate Black History with us by strolling along the beaches in Maryland that were expressly for African Americans. Hear conversations, music and see displays on Carr's Beach and Sparrow's Beach in Anne Arundel County and Wilmer's Park in Brandywine, Maryland. Many wellknown African American enteriners perfromed at thes beaches, like James Brown, Little richard, Stevie Wonder, Ella fitzgerald, Supremes, Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin. Light refreshments will be served. All ages welcome.
