Loh, a humorist & radio commentator, was living an idyllic life until her oldest daughter reached kindergarten age and was doomed to attend public school. This event sparked her year of fire as she frantically tried to find a reasonably-priced private school, got fired from her radio gig, and finally kicked her therapist to the curb. Her transformation from manic mom to community activist with a sense of humor as well as a heart is inspiring, illuminating and gut-bustingly funny.
