As one of the most highly acclaimed performers of our time with five Grammy® awards, four Billboard Music Awards, three platinum records, five gold records, and eleven million units sold, Sandi Patty is simply known as “The Voice”. In addition to this impressive list, Sandi has also been honored with 40 Dove Awards.
Sandi burst onto the music scene with her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the rededication of the Statue of Liberty in 1986. From that patriotic beginning, her career was largely focused on gospel music where she found great success. Inspirational songs like “The Day He Wore My Crown”, “Sweet Hour of Prayer”, and “More Than Wonderful” helped to make her the most awarded female vocalist in Contemporary Christian music.
Contemporary Christian is only one of the many genres that Sandi showcases in her live show. Sandi now brings to her audiences a mix of American standards and Broadway favorites as featured on her latest album, “Broadway Stories.”
