SOL DOC with the MI GAAN BAND

The Rock Collection is a new all-star group that debuted at the Oregon Country Fair featuring Greg Anton (Zero) on drums, Mark Karan (RatDog) on electric guitar, Dan "Lebo" Lebowitz (ALO) on acoustic guitar and pedal steel, and Robin Sylvester (RatDog) on bass. Greg has played with Steve Kimock/Zero, Cast of Clowns, John Lee Hooker, Stanley Jordan and Jerry Garcia, in addition to co-writing songs with Robert Hunter. Robin has recorded or performed with the Beach Boys, Ry Cooder, and Bo Diddley. Robin and Mark toured together with Bob Weir & RatDog for many years. Mark has also toured/recorded with artists such as Dave Mason, Sophie B. Hawkins, and the Rembrandts. Lebo is co-founder of ALO (formerly Animal Liberation Orchestra), and has opened for/toured with Jack Johnson, G Love, and Galactic.

Sol Doc, aka Fairfax native Jeremy Knudsen, is a new conscious hip hop performer who has performed with Norris Man, SAGE and Junior Reid, was featured at the 19 Broadway Fairfax Festival after party and is on the High Tide Records label.

Deeply influenced by Bob Marley as well as Peter Tosh, Burning Spear and the Fugees, Mi Gaan brings a fresh new sound through their label I-Sight Records. With an international fanbase, they have brought down the house at the Good Festival and collaborated with an impressive roster of Reggae artists including Clinton Fearon, Norrisman, Messenjah Selah, Joshua & Luv Fyah and Hip Hop artists from MC Yogi to Matty Love.
