San Francisco Waterfront Photowalk July 25, 2008

Join Thomas Hawk and Robert Scoble for a late notice waterfront photowalk tomorrow in San Francisco. We will be filming this photowalk for an upcoming episode of our Photowalking Show.
We'll start the walk at noon and meet outside of Taylor's Automatic Refresher on the North end of the Ferry Building in San Francisco. From there we will go North along the waterfront shooting some of the piers, Fisherman's Wharf and ending up down by the Hyde Street Pier where ships are presently docked for the Festival of Sails. The SS Jeremiah O'Brien and other boats are presently docked there for the Festival.
We might try to board the ships for the Festival and shoot more down there if tickets are available and they allow photography if people feel up for it.

Hmm. I've got a 400mm f/2.8 that I need to try out, but photowalking seems like a particularly horrible task for that. Heavyyyyyy.

Sounds like fun, and I *really* wish I could make it. But I'll be stuck in good 'ol San Jose stomping on marketing gremlins, and trying not to pull my hair out. Go forth and kick ass without me.
