San Francisco Oil Awareness/PostCarbon Joint Meeting December 13, 2006

Since December is December, both SF groups are doing
a love-in, and it will take place Wednesday!

Bring cookies and nibbles, this is a Quaker facility so no alcohol please (but the bar is down the street!).

Jeanne Rosenmeier will be SFOA facilitator

Presentations (all will be about 15 minutes, with discussion):

Chuck Payne assesses the effects of elections on oil
pricing(further information since the earlier presentation at SFPC
several months back).

Dennis Brumm on municipalities response (if everyone
present has heard this, well forego the presentation and just discuss
what other cities are doing, etc.); intermixed with discussion of the
LAFCo Hearing November 17.

Ingrid Severson of Bay Localize will give a
presentation/update on the Rooftop Garden project.

Assessment of the direction of SF Oil Awareness (by
????????? - Who would
like to do this?)
Assessment of the direction of SF Post Carbon (by
Michael P. and Richard K)

People who did research into a new meeting location
should be reporting
back. Mike, Jeanne, etc.

We will discuss the possibility or workings of
alternative currency.
