San Francisco International Film Festival: Closing Night Film "A Prairie Home Companion" May 4, 2006

Directed by Robert Altman. Starring Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline, Virginia Madsen, Tommy Lee Jones, Lindsay Lohan, Woody Harrelson, John C. Reilly and Lily Tomlin. Garrison Keillor?s mighty screenplay, based upon the long-running and critically acclaimed weekly radio show, takes place on the evening of the show?s finale broadcast. The cast, as star-studded as a pair of sequined boots, is masterfully woven together as honorary Academy Award winner Robert Altman?s direction embodies both the mirth and breadth of the show he so artfully brings to the silver screen.
