More and more in today's world, religion appears in the media as a source of conflict and divisiveness. While those stories hold true, there is also an untold narrative, that of the majority of religious
people, for whom their faith inspires them to work towards social justice in local and global ways. The Faiths Act program of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation works to mobilize people of faith to come together as a way of demonstrating that faith can be a force for good, and this year, the San Francisco Interfaith Council was chosen as one of 15 host sites internationally for the Faiths Act Fellows program.
