Presents Birthstones: History, Mystery and Romance
The public is invited to explore the endlessly fascinating world of gemstones and minerals at the 53rd Annual San Francisco Gem and Mineral Society Show and Sale.
When: Saturday, Aug. 4, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 5, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Where: San Francisco County Fair Bldg., Ninth Avenue and Lincoln Way, Golden Gate Park
What: Exhibitors include mineralogists, paleontologists, and gem and jewelry dealers.
Theme: “Birthstones: History, Mystery and Romance”
Exhibits: Lapidary, Pearls, Gemstones, Minerals, Beads, Crystals and Jewelry. Educational demonstrations and prizes.
Nonprofit: San Francisco Gem & Mineral Society is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
General Public Admission: Adults $6.00. Seniors and students: $5.00 Children under 12 admitted free with a paying adult.
