In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month this April, Olympic gold medalist, Hall of Fame boxer, and humanitarian, Sugar Ray Leonard will keynote the Annual Blue Ribbon Luncheon to support the San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center. From boxing, he went on to become a motivational speaker, actor, and spokesperson for victims of child abuse. This year marks an exciting time for the San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center as they celebrate 40 years of child abuse prevention. The Center is dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect, the promotion of healthy families and the mental health of children.
Emmy-Award winning Co-Anchor of ABC 7/KGO TV and long-time friend of the Center, Cheryl Jennings, will serve as the emcee at the event which will be held on Tuesday, April 26th, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Four Seasons Hotel at 757 Market Street, San Francisco. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. The event is nearly sold out. If you are interested in sponsoring a table, please call Alysha Catalano at 415-213-7447.
