WHAT: 2012 San Francisco Carnaval King & Queen Competition
A fun and fierce multi-cultural music and dance competition to crown the 2012 San Francisco Carnaval King and Queen. Showcasing talented contestants from around the Bay Area, this high-energy competition provides all the excitement and colorful flavor of the forthcoming Carnaval. The winners of the 2012 San Francisco Carnaval King and Queen will have the honor of representing San Francisco Carnaval at upcoming civic events and leading the San Francisco Carnaval Grand Parade on May 27.

Led by this year’s Grand Marshal (soon to be named), along with the San Francisco Carnaval 2012 King and Queen, the Parade begins at Bryant & 24th Streets and proceeds down Mission to 17th Street.
Grandstand seating for the parade is available for $30 or $40 for two and can be purchased online at sfcarnaval.org.
