San Antonio B-Cycle continues rapid expansion with addition of five new stations February 28, 2013

B-Cycle, San Antonio’s bike share program, is pleased to announce the addition of five new stations launching on Thursday, February 28, 2013, with B-Cycle Chief Share Director, Cindi Snell. Funded by the Paul S. Sarbanes Transit in Parks Program federal grant, B-Cycle’s newest stations are located along Broadway, Hoefgen Avenue, North St. Mary's Street and South St. Mary's Street. With the launch of these new stations, there will be 35 B-Cycle stations in San Antonio with more stations scheduled to be added in May 2013. B-Cycle projects that they will expand to 50 stations and 500 bikes by the end of 2013. New locations: San Antonio Zoo (3903 North St. Mary's St., San Antonio, 78212); Witte Museum (3801 Broadway St., San Antonio, 78209); TriPoint (3233 North St. Mary's St., San Antonio, 78212); Amtrak Station (350 Hoefgen Ave., San Antonio, 78205); Ace Mart (1220 South St. Mary's, San Antonio, 78210).
