Dublin’s illustrious Gate Theatre was the first company in the world to present a full retrospective of the 19 stage plays of Samuel Beckett – a towering figure in 20th-century theater and one of the great Irish humorists. Watt is Beckett’s hilarious study of obsessional neurosis, adapted from his autobiographical novel.
