July 30 will prove to be a very exciting night for the Mendocino Stories and Music Series. Samba Jamba will bring their sound of salsa, Latin jazz, and Brazilian classics to Mendocino.

Fronted by Cherie Sheraque’s dynamic vocals in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and led by Dorian May who eats, sleeps and breathes music, the band has been performing all over Mendocino County for over four years playing an eclectic mix of arrangements including classics made famous by Sergio Mendes & Brazil 66 and Antonio Jobim.
