Javad was born in Mashhad, Khorasan, in the north-east of Persia, the original center of Gnosticism, mystical knowledge and power. He is the author of the book Sama’a: Light of the Light of the Light.
The ceremony of Sama'a that is being presented resembles the actual ceremony of Sama'a that occurs in the right place and the right time with the participation of the true Akhavans (devotees) and the presence of the MORAD (devoted). This ceremony consists of two parts: the first part is the presentation of the exercises required for the preparation, union and relation of the body and the mind of the wayfarer for an actual ceremony of Sama'a; the second part is the whirling ceremony, nourishment of the Divine Lovers. The wayfarer is being led to Letafat-e khial that is subtlety of thought, by narrowing the thoughts the imagination becomes subtle. Remembering the union of lovers the vision is empowered from above enabling the inner senses to visualize the world of Malakoot, the world of angels.
"Sitting during the ceremony, I felt (I was) entering a holy place. My body felt erect and suspended without any effort and my attention heightened. The exercises, though challenging, felt like I existed outside of time. The three hours felt like minutes, and so did the turning. The turning was an amazing experience. An independence from the world rushing around me and a sense of quiet. I guess I could call it peace."
