Salute to Israel Parade 2008 May 31, 2008

On Sunday June 1st the largest attended parade dedicated to the 60th anniversary of The State of Israel took place in Manhattan. It was the first time when Russian-speaking Jews participated so enthusiastically: over two thousand Russian Jewish Americans came to support Israel.

This year the Board of Directors and staff of COJECO remarkably organized our group. We strived for the greatest representation of Russian-speaking Jews in this very special year for The State of Israel; and succeeded. We have developed and implemented an effective PR and advertising campaign as well as ordered specially designed T-shirts and provided bus transportation for the participants who couldn’t use public transportation.

We greatly appreciate the enthusiasm of all Russian-speaking Jews who participated in the Salute to Israel Parade. Thank you, dear friends!

We are very glad that our united efforts were rewarded with success. It couldn’t have happened without your dedication to Israel. Together, we demonstrated our unity in our support of The State of Israel as well as the growing role of Russian-speaking Jewish community in America. We are confident in the prosperity of the State of Israel and are ready to do everything to support it.
