SALTAF: South Asian Literary and Theater Arts Festival November 4, 2006

SALTAF™ 2006 marks the third year that NETSAP-DC is partnering with the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program. SALTAF™ began in 2000 as a medium for discussion of the South Asian Diaspora. This discussion has since grown into a yearly celebration of South Asian creative talent. The festival has established itself as one of the premiere showcases for South Asian themed literary works and theater arts appreciation nationwide. SALTAF™ provides authors, playwrights, literary and theatre professionals the opportunity to interact with their audience.

Book lovers, cinema fans and all those interested in the South Asian culture can explore the creative process with professional artists and discover outlets for their own creative aspirations.
