Salsa Reno has created a turn technique class to help people keep their balance on the social dance floor. This class focuses on solo turns, posture, spotting, muscle connection, foot placement, arm and hand placement & understanding your axis, with a goal of performing solid turns. You will learn a turning drill that will go through a large variety of turns used in salsa.

By participating in a Salsa Reno dance class you're immersing yourself into Reno's best salsa and Latin dance training program. There are 5 levels of salsa classes, specialty classes, Casino Rueda, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha on 2, Merengue and performance opportunities. Dancers also have the opportunity to dance salsa at various locales in and around Reno to help bring what you learn in the ballroom studio out into the "real world" of salsa.

Originally from Los Angeles, BB of Salsa Reno has been dancing Salsa for over 10 years and teaching since 2002. He regularly studies salsa with top salsa dance instructors from around the world. His current salsa teachers are John and Liz of Salsamania in Oakland, CA, ranked sixth in the world and he is endorsed to teach Bachata by Rodney “Rodchata” Aquino, the most respected Bachata instructor in the Bay area. Recently BB of Salsa Reno was honored by Salsagang.com for his outstanding contributions to the salsa industry in the Reno/Truckee area and he was named “best salsa instructor in town” by Reno Magazine in January 2009. He teaches a salsa dance program at the Starlite Dance Center in Reno. BB of Salsa Reno is the host and resident instructor for Baila! Thursdays at the Pearl Champagne Lounge in Grand Sierra Resort and Hot Salsa Fridays at UNR. With over 120 active students currently enrolled in weekly salsa lessons in the Reno area, he feels confident you’re learning a dance with a strong following that’s embraced by anyone that has heard about this exotic blend of Afro-Cuban-Caribbean music that is globally recognized as “Salsa”.
