Salsa Fest 09 ~ Latin Dance Workshops ~ Family Fun ~ plus Late Night Dancing ~ June 13, 2009

Atlantis is proud to host Salsa Fest 2009 on June 13th

This event has everything Latin Dance Workshops ~ Family Friendly daytime events (Free) ~ Then put the kiddies to bed and come back out for some Late Night Dancing, Indoors or Out!

Workshops will be held on Saturday, June 13th, from noon until 4:00 p.m.

The schedule is:

12:00 to 1:00
ChaCha/Bodywork – Ronald Davis

1:00 to 2:00
Timing and Musicality – Nalisio Taveras

2:00 to 3:00
On1 Partnerwork – Jimmy Rumba

3:00 to 4:00
Men’s and Ladies’ Styling During Partnerwork – Tanja “La Alemana” and “Ataca” Jorge

The afternoon Family Friendly Fiesta begins at 3:00 p.m. outdoors.
Jam-packed with activities for the whole family, from clowns and bouncers for the children to Authentic Latin Cuisine by local families and local family-owned restaurants offering regional cuisine and Vendor booths!

Music will be provided by local musicians and DJ's including “Salsa Florida,” Carlos Odria, Carlos Silva and Nic THE DJ.

Then the BIG PARTY starts @ 8pm!!!

Social Dancing as follows:

Inside will be STRICTLY SALSA, with a touch of bachata and cha-cha, Featuring DJ MIKE, our OFFICIAL Latin DJ for the Tallahassee Salsa Fest!!
One of the hottest Latin DJs in Florida, coming to us all the way from Tampa!!

Outdoors, DJ Nick will spin the hottest Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Reggaeton.
Come out and DANCE UNDER THE STARS on the brand new dance floor EXCLUSIVELY for this event!!!
