You are cordially invited to join us for CAFÉ TABU’s Grand Opening on Saturday March 1st at Bliss Nightclub located at 535 East 4th Street in Downtown Reno.Presented by Miller Chill and the Reno Truckee Salsa, CAFÉ TABU is a 21 and older, nightclub that offers club-goers and salsa music aficionados a nightlife experience unlike anything they have ever experienced in Reno.
You might be asking yourself “What’s different about CAFÉ TABU?” Well for starters, CAFÉ TABU will not be hosted in one venue. Yes that’s right, CAFÉ TABU will actually rotate throughout some of the most popular bars and nightclubs in the Reno/Sparks area. Another major difference is that it will be a New York and LA style salsa experience. William (BB) Flanders, Reno’s most respected Salsa instructor and Director of Reno Truckee Salsa, will teach a free Salsa Basics class from 8-10pm to jump-start the evening. Lastly, CAFÉ TABU will require fashionable or upscale attire for admission. All of these elements combine to create an experience that cannot be found anywhere else in the Reno/Sparks area.
And now for the best part, Miller Chill is covering all costs associated with producing and promoting CAFÉ TABU and as a result everyone can enjoy a FREE ADMISSION with an initial purchase of a Miller Chill at the door.
BB of Reno Truckee Salsa has been dancing Salsa for over 10 years and teaching since 2002. He regularly studies salsa with top salsa dance instructors from around the world. His current salsa teachers are John and Liz of Salsamania in Oakland, CA, ranked fifth in the world and he is endorsed to teach Bachata by Rodney “Rodchata” Aquino, the most respected Bachata instructor in the Bay area. BB of Reno Truckee Salsa also has been asked to teach at salsa conferences such as the Reno Dance Sensation and the Palm Springs Summer Salsa Splash. With over 120 active students currently enrolled in weekly salsa lessons in the Reno/Truckee area, both Reno Truckee Salsa and Miller Chill feel confident that CAFÉ TABU will not only have an immediately strong following but will also be embraced by anyone that has heard about this exotic blend of Afro-Cuban-Caribbean music that is globally recognized as “Salsa.”
