Salmon Select Mule Sale April 16, 2009

There are plenty of activities planed for this year’s sale. According to Sale Chairman Fred Snook, Jr, there are 150 horses consigned for the Saturday sale and 50 mules for the Friday night sale. Activities start on Friday at 11 a.m. with a special Cowboy Church service hosted by the Lemhi River Cowboy Church. For this unique presentation, Don Funke of Roundpen Ministries invites folks to “discover how starting a horse parallels a life of faith." Other Friday events include the BCH packing clinic, noxious weed seminar, training clinics by Toby Lapp and Lamoyn Thorkelson, and 4-D open barrel racing. The new Trail Competition for the sale mules starts at 3:30 and the actual mule sale starts at 6:30. Call 756-2125 for details.
