We are extremely proud to announce the inaugural Salford Music Day which celebrates the vast variety of musical styles and genres found in the University of Salford Music Directorate. The day’s programme will feature contemporary performances, with sound and visual installations incorporating live improvisation/audience interaction using digital technologies, lunchtime music featuring Jazz/classical and singer/songwriter student performers, featuring compositions / arrangements by staff and students.

The Vice Chancellor's Gala Concert at Maxwell Hall, features music from stage musicals in a special joint collaboration with Lloyd Butler and students from Ohio University. The evening will also feature Salford University Brass Band and Wind Band. Late night music at Islington Mill showcasing experimental and classic rock / pop bands.
