SakeOne's Annual Pacific Rim Festival August 25, 2012

No matter where you live in the Pacific Rim or how you say Hello!, get ready to party ALL DAY LONG at SakéOne's Third Annual Pacific Rim Festival, Saturday, August 25th, 2012.

Summer has finally reached the Pacific Northwest, and it's time to make the most of our amazing weather, foods, fun, entertainment and bounty brought to us from all corners of the Pacific Rim!!

Bring the whole family and picnic! We willl have Hawaiian specialties including plate lunch (two scoop rice!) and authentic Island SHAVE ICE. Uwajimaya will be dishing up fresh Poké alongside Japanese bento and amazing Filipino fare, to name a few.

While you eat, relax, watch the kids run around enjoying the sun and wonderful foods being served. There will be LIVE PERFORMANCES from over half a dozen local troupes lending music and dance of the Pacific Rim to the sounds of Summer laughter.

We're hoping it will be HOT, and to quench the thirst of the adults in your group, flights of America's premier saké and the ever-popular Lemon Pomegranate Saketini will be available, as will wines from Abbey Creek Vineyard and local brews from the Old Market Pub and Brewery.

We haven't forgotten the kiddies, either (or the adults for that matter). Everyone can explore the crafts of various regions from Japanese calligraphy, to origami, to haku lei making, temporary
Polynesian body art tattoos and a Kimono dress-up booth!
