Conductor Edo de Waart begins his tenure as Artistic Partner with the Schoenberg/Riehn arrangement of Mahler's 'Das Lied von der Erde' featuring mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke and tenor William Burden. Franz Schreker's Chamber Symphony, written in the midst of World War I, completes the program.
