Have you felt the lure of the sea and would like to know your “port” from your “starboard”? Or the difference between a jib and a mainsail?
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Sail For A Cure program helps would-be sailors experience the thrill of sailing while raising funds to fight blood cancers and help patients live longer, better lives.
LLS, in partnership with Club Nautique Sailing School, offers this special program to both beginning sailors and those new to the sport of sailing. In a safe and supportive environment, you’ll learn sailing techniques and terminology, spend quality time on the water with fun, like-minded people and pursue the exciting goal of participating in the prestigious Leukemia Cup Regatta on September 19-20, 2009.
Raise a sail with us! Come learn more at an Information Meeting. To RSVP, Contact Caely Cusick at caely.cusick@lls.org or call 415.625.1132.
