Sahara Dance, DC’s Center for Middle Eastern Dance, is proud to present the 5th Annual SAHARABESQUE!, a summer showcase of experimental belly dance featuring performances by Raqs Sahara, Sahara Tribal, The Calmes Triplets, Tribal Remix and special guest Rachel Brice. Join us for an evening of new, experimental works in belly dance. Saharabesque! is an annual summer show designed to explore interpretive pieces that meld east and west, antiquity and modernity, folklore and funk!
