SAFRA Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon September 3, 2011

Running enthusiasts can look forward to SAFRA Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon, an annual running event jointly organised by SAFRA and Our Army. Priority registration is now open for participants who took part in 2009 or 2010, who can enjoy special rates till 19 May 2011. Early bird registration will commence from 20 May to 19 Jun. Normal registration closes on 4 Aug.

This year, we are encouraging fathers and their children to team up for a 800m run challenge, where father and son will be bonded together with an elastic band on the wrist. This gives them an opportunity to prep for the race by pacing themselves to suit each others’ running speed. The other categories include 21km army half marathon, 10km race and 5km fun run. Participants can look forward to run along a scenic route along the Marina Bay area as well as past historical places on a Sunday morning with their families and friends.
