Safeway Kicks Off Annual ‘Game Day Experience’ Tailgate Party—This Year at Husky Stadium September 13, 2008

On Saturday, September 13, Safeway is inviting all football fans attending the Huskies vs. Oklahoma Sooners game to come and tailgate ‘Safeway Style’ at the Safeway Game Day Experience. Kicking off at 12:30 p.m., Safeway will host the largest tailgate with a wide assortment of free food and beverages, as well as old school video games, prizes and big screen plasma TVs, located in the southeast section of the University of Washington’s Montlake parking lot.

What a fun way to support the Huskies while enjoying delicious Safeway product line! Fans can enjoy a great selection of game day favorites including Ham, Swiss, and Cheddar Panini sandwiches, Signature Café Tomato Basil Bisque soup, SELECT Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies and Rancher’s Reserve Grill items. For serious football fun, the tailgate will feature a tent designed as a living room, gaming areas, and a special ‘Sports bar’ lounge, all with big screen plasma TVs!
