Rye bonfire society procession November 13, 2010

Bonfire societies led by Rye and District Bonfire Society will process through Rye with flaming torches, drum bands, floats and walkers from local groups and, bringing up the rear our Dragon, Scorcher and, symbol of the Society, The Burning Boat. The procession winds it’s way through the town to the Salts where a ‘Normous Bonfire’ is waiting to be lit, followed by an excellent firework display.
