RVA Environmental Film Festival February 10, 2013

On Saturday and Sunday, February 9-10, 2013, the Enrichmond Foundation, Falls of the James Group - Sierra Club, Capital Region Land Conservancy, and the James River Green Building Council will join together to present the third annual RVA Environmental Film Festival at the historic Byrd Theatre in Richmond, Virginia. The weekend-long event will showcase films designed to raise awareness of environmental issues relative to all residents of our planet.

2:55 PM Ingredients – Good news from the local food community, sponsored by Slow Food, nonprofit.

4:10 PM Greenfire – The story of “Aldo Leopold” directed by David Starke, sponsored by The Capital Region Land Conservancy

5:50 PM The Big Fix – Josh & Rebecca Tickell’s expose of Big Oil crimes associated with Deepwater Horizon explosion

7:20 PM The Age of Stupid – Franny Armstrong directs Pete Postlethwaite in lookback after future ecologic collapse.
