This August is Virginia Craft Beer Month. So Taste The Local has been brainstorming with the VA Craft Brewers Guild to come up with an event that not only celebrates beer but celebrates what makes Richmond Richmondy!

We came to a conclusion: RVA has a BBQ obsession!

Currently there are 60+ BBQ spots in the Richmond metro area!
And the average Richmonder is pretty passionate (militant) about where they get their que.
So we thought, let’s combine that passion into a giant meaty slab of RVA pride!

We are bringing some of your favorite neighborhood BBQ spots, local bands, and breweries, and celebrating Richmond style at the Historic 17th Street Farmers Market in Shockoe Bottom!
