Russian National Ballet Theater : Chopiniana and Romeo and Juliet February 3, 2011

Two classic ballets will be performed by Russia's elite dancers. Mikhail Fokine's 'Chopiniana' is a stylized interpretation of romantic themes and moods based on Chopin's 'Seventh Waltz'. Shakespeare's timeless tragic romance 'Romeo and Juliet' is given a dynamic new interpretation, based on original choreography by Marius Petipa and a Tchaikovsky score.
