RUPAUL STARS IN STARRBOOTY
Signing to take place at Virgin Megastore Union Square in support of DVD Release 10/30

(New York, NY) – RuPaul is back and ready to redefine comedy as we know it. He stars in Starrbooty, a film jam-packed with delicious dialogue, insane characters, outrageous costumes and gratuitous hair and make-up. Alongside RuPaul in the film are Candis Cayne, Lahoma Van Zandt, Gus Mattox, Michael Lucas, Ari Gold, Owen Hawk and Lady Bunny. Directed by Mike Ruiz, this film is sure to have you laughing your ‘booty’ off.

Starrbooty is set for DVD release on Tuesday, October 30th. To celebrate, Ru will appear at the Virgin Megastore Union Square for a signing. The night has a theme: Dress as your favorite blacksploitation character (i.e. Cleopatra Jones, Foxy Brown, Super Fly).

The versatile performer has brought the world infectious dance music, notable performances and, most recently, Starrbooty, a film some twenty years in the making. It is finally out and being shown in film festivals and at screening events nationwide.
